The SCANDINOFF brand was founded in 2020 in the Czech Republic.

In the beginning, the brand concentrated on handmade knives of the Viking Seax type. The high interest and popularity of these knives caused the establishment of a special 3D design studio SCANDINOFF, which began to create its own visualizations, 3D models and production drawings of other types of knives, similar in shape to the Viking Seax, but adapted to modern requirements for the use and maintenance of the knife. Over time, other types of knives were created, which emphasized not only the preservation of the design, but also the durability and useful value of the knives. All this allowed the brand to move over time to its own ideas and designs, which is evidenced by, for example, our folding knife, or the Vario knife, an excellent own multi-purpose design created by the SCANDINOFF design studio.

For the blades, SCANDINOFF uses exclusively Scandinavian steels, mainly Sandvik and Sleipner, the plan is carbon steel 80 CrV2.
