Steeleton - Dark
The SCANDINOFF Steeleton folding knife belongs into the EDC category. This robust full-metal and durable knife has a unique shape in the SCANDINOFF design language. The handle has a gently curved shape (a characteristic design element of all SCANDINOFF knives), which creates unique ergonomics and a firm grip.
When you hold the closed knife, you can say – this is really is a "folding beast".
However, it differs from other folding knives in some ways.
It differs in the shape of the blade, based on the original shapes of Seax Viking knives.
It differs in the gently curved shape of the handle (a characteristic design element of all SCANDINOFF knives), which creates unique ergonomics and a firm grip.
It differs in the SCANDINOFF FLAT & GROOVE grind – a special flat grind with an upper groove sunk to the front of the blade.
It differs in the 15° bevel on the upper edge of the blade, which creates a unique design effect at both ends of the bevel.
AND – it differs in that it can be used for selfdefence - in the closed state for strengthening the fist and defensive striking techniques with the reinforced rear edge of the knife body!
The blade shape is based on the original shapes of Nordic Viking knives of the SEAX type, and is made of Scandinavian steel Sandvik 14C28N, which is currently one of the most demanded and used knife steels worldwide.
The grinding of the knife is Flat & Groove - a special SCANDINOFF flat grind with an upper groove sunk to the front of the blade.
The upper edge of the knife is ground to 15° bevel on the upper edge of the blade, which creates a unique design effect at both ends of the bevel.
The entire blade has a black stonewash finish, steel is vacuum hardened to 60±1 HRC Rockwell scale.
The sharpness of the knife is excellent, as you can see in the videos on social networks.
Opening the knife is very gentle, simple and fast, using the back "flipper". The lock of the blade is very massive and reliable "frame lock".
This liner lock is very stable, there is no danger of the knife closing again without releasing it.
The body of the knife is specially shaped to allow self-defense techniques with the knife closed, quickly cutting the belt in the car, breaking the front or side window in the car, etc.
The knife in the closed state allows these self-defense and rescue techniques as one of the few closing knives, thanks to its massiveness, unique shape of full-metal body, which at the same time creates a very impressive overall design of the closed and open knife.
The knife has many original design elements, coming directly from the SCANDINOFF design studio:
• Seax blade shape
• curved shape of the handle
• SCANDINOFF Flat & Groove grind
• 15° bevel on the upper edge of the blade
• Massive clip specially embedded in the body of the knife for wearing on trousers
• "Rescue" knife shape for self-defense with a closed knife, breaking a car window, etc.

The SCANDINOFF brand was founded in 2020 in the Czech Republic.
In the beginning, the brand concentrated on handmade knives of the Viking Seax type. The high interest and popularity of these knives caused the establishment of a special 3D design studio SCANDINOFF, which began to create its own visualizations, 3D models and production drawings of other types of knives, similar in shape to the Viking Seax, but adapted to modern requirements for the use and maintenance of the knife. Over time, other types of knives were created, which emphasized not only the preservation of the design, but also the durability and useful value of the knives. All this allowed the brand to move over time to its own ideas and designs, which is evidenced by, for example, our folding knife, or the Vario knife, an excellent own multi-purpose design created by the SCANDINOFF design studio. For the blades, SCANDINOFF uses exclusively Scandinavian steels, mainly Sandvik and Sleipner, the plan is also carbon steel 80 CrV2.
The STEELETON knife is delivered in a beautiful box with silver printing with a maintenance allen key for adjusting the small and large screws on the knife and a knife maintenance cloth.
